They'll probably add the offline mode to appease the fans, but honestly I think the vast majority of players will be online. I don't think the idea that you can't take your character online from the offline mode (which is necessary) will keep the appeal to offline mode. I personally don't care whether it's online-only or not, and don't really see this as DRM, as blizzard's never had an issue with piracy.
But when all is said and done, people won&...
Im not saying Street Fighter can or can't work in 3D, but the EX series was pretty bad bro.
The original Diablos have been kept online for like 15 years, I doubt you'll need to worry about D3 shutting its servers down for a very long time. Also, they're probably going the online-only route to combat any cheating, and Diablo 3 being a multiplayer-centric game, that's one of their main concerns.
You can play Diablo online and offline.
Blizzards games are always capable of running on low-end hardware. You won't need high-end hardware for this game, their games are scalable from low-end to enthusiast.
True, Diablo II truly was and is to this day, an amazing game. D3 may not be made by the original creators but if Blizzard puts in the same kind of work they did Starcraft II, there's really nothing to be worried about.
I got faith in Blizzard. They don't F around with their games.
She's not the worst character in gaming; its just her AI programming that's really bad. Her character hasn't been fleshed out enough for her to be really hated or liked.
I'm a big fan of the tekken series, and I've got no problem with pretty much any gaming franchise going multiplatform, including tekken.
What I DO have a problem with, is when one version is ported from the other platform version. As was the case with the PS3 version of Tekken 6...
If you guys wanna see direct-feed footage from C.C, there's hours of stream(ed) video at http://www.twitch.tv/levelu...
I got this game, it doesn't really look that great. Runs fast yeah, but it's really just a console port.
I really hate how people think the first Crysis was just a technical showcase of CryEngine 2, and how people bought it just for the graphics. I think if more people would actually play the game, and not draw early conclusions about it, they'd see how great it really is. They'd also why fans of the series see Crysis 2 as such a big disappointment.
O.o if there's a demo for TTT2 then the full console release shouldn't be far away then
@AKS I don't know whats with the disagrees, you made a valid point. The video game industry is focused on console gaming, tried and true. The only AAA, fully PC-centric games I see coming are BF3, Diablo, Star Wars: old republic... off the top of my head. I could go on to name maybe 10 AAA platform exclusives for PS3 and 360 coming out this year alone.
Sadly, it doesn't seem like this trend is gonna change either. I thought the first Crysis was a groundbreaking game a...
While I agree that Turn 10 certainly does support their fans wholeheartedly, don't try and downplay Polyphony Digital. PD has supported GT5 nonstop since it's release. They're continuously adding new support for steering wheels, seasonal events, special events (such as, but not limited to GT Academy), redone A.I, improved mechanical damage, graphics and physics tweaks... all this on a regular basis. Honestly, there are few MMO's that get this kind of special treatment.

@remember that was BF2: Modern Combat. VERY different from the PC Battlefield 2.
But yes, I'm pretty sure Battlefield will come to Vita.
The leaked footage is running off a server-side client, with the purpose of testing the game's stability in an online environment. It's not an indication of BF3's final presentation, nor gameplay mechanics. Wait for the beta trial in September, or better yet, the full game in October to make conclusions about the game.
I hope the next Crysis has the scale and mechanics of the first. I loved the Multiplayer in the first & Warhead, it was like a synthesis of Battlefield and Counterstrike. But with Crysis 2 it was clearly made to appeal the console audience and not actually build off the series itself.
my point exactly
They look similar enough, but how do they run on each platform?
... I just plan on playing the game
